Welcome to the Louise E. Mills Federal Credit Union Louise E. Mills was a teacher with the Pentucket school system for many years. She founded the credit union in April 1963, with twenty five hundred dollars. At the time, the credit union was named Pioneer Federal Credit Union. The credit union now has more than eight million dollars in assets, and has been renamed in Louise's honor. You and your family members are welcome to join. Credit Unions are non-profit organizations, and are owned collectively by the membership. Because it is a non profit organization, this usually means lower finance charges on loans and credit cards. We also provide competitive rates on savings, and CD rates. The Louise E. Mills Federal Credit Union is small enough to be personalized yet large enough to handle all your financial needs. We welcome any financial questions you may have, and will do our best to provide accurate and timely information. Your input is appreciated, as we are always glad to hear from the membership so that we may do our best to meet your needs. We presently have 1,974 members. Please contact any one of them and we are certain they will list the many positive aspects of our services, including direct deposit. It is a great way to save! Welcome to the Louise E. Mills F.C.U. financial family! 2009 Membership Celebration & Annual Meeting The Celebration runs all day followed immediately by your Credit Union’s 46th Annual Meeting and Elections. We will be raffling off some great prizes at the end of the day, including $25 gift certificates to Dunkin' Donuts, Bed & Biscuit and the New England Chocolate Co! Bring the whole family. Celebrate Youth Week with us by opening up an account for your child. Help us teach your children the value of money, saving, spending wisely and preparing for the future. Open a Johnny Appleseed account for your child under 13 years old. We have a fabulous Teen Pride program for your child 13 to 21 years old. Georgetown Middle/High School students can join the credit union. Help us collect books for our Children's Book Drive the whole month of April. Bring unwanted books to the credit union and we will distribute them to non-profit agencies. Help us make a difference and build a better society. Put a smile on a child's face! | ||||||||
